One of the items worthy of consideration is to ask if  are you taking full advantage of what you are paying for with the Canada Post Service you pay for.

Weight Factor.

Each level of Mail has a maximum allowable weight for the base price. You can increase your message size or add value added pieces that generate revenue to your mailing to recover some of your mailing cost or simply to add revenue.

For instance one of your sister companies or groups has a message flyer they want to get out yet they do not have a large enough budget to cover mailing.

Check the limits of your postage paid for and see if you can add their piece to your mailing without adding to your mailing cost or increasing it marginally.
